Job summary

Impact Business Group is recruiting on behalf of a Global Leader in the Medical Device Industry for a hands-on Technician on a 12-month plus contract. Responsibilities include prototyping and testing catheter and guidewire products in cleanroom and R&D labs, documenting results, and supporting development projects.

The role requires ability to manage multiple priorities, use statistical tools, and ensure methods meet GLP and QS requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on prototyping and testing of catheter and guidewire products.
• Support upcoming catheter development projects.
• Conduct mechanical and performance testing, including Instron and lubricity testing.
• Work in cleanroom and R&D laboratory environments.
• Document test results and complete data entry.
• Independently execute assignments while collaborating with the broader R&D team.
• Manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing project needs.
• General understanding of common engineering statistical and scientific tools (e.g Gage R&R, DOE, SPC, stress/strain analysis etc)
• Ensure product is tested to the most current/validated method/process and documentation is correctly completed per GLP & QS requirements as applicable.

Our client, a Global Leader in the Medical Device Industry has an immediate opening for a Technicianfor a 12 month + Contract. Work schedule is Monday - Friday 8am-4:30pm or 7am-3:30pm or 6am-2:30pm (half hour lunch, no set lunchtime, though)
