Job summary

Holman is seeking an Automotive Technician with Electric Vehicle experience to join our team at Auto Park Kia. The role offers up to a $10,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance, with wages starting in the range of $20 - $27 USD per hour.

Responsibilities include servicing and repairing vehicles, diagnosing issues, maintaining knowledge of diagnostics technology, and road-testing to ensure top quality work. A valid license and a clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• KIA & EV certification is highly desired.
• Minimum of 2+ years of dealer-level or large facility experience.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair vehicles as assigned by the Service Manager.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs to dealer and factory standards.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of diagnostics and tools.
• Keep the shop area clean and account for dealership tools.
• Road-test vehicles to ensure quality repairs.
• Adapt to evolving automotive technologies and diagnostics.

Auto Park Kia has an outstanding opportunity for a skilled Automotive Technician with Electric Vehicle experience to join the Holman family.

What will you do?

Our Automotive Technician is responsible for servicing and repairing all vehicles as assigned by the Service Manager.

• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards
• Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repair
• Maintain leading-edge knowledge of automotive diagnosis technology, digital manuals, and reference materials
• Keep shop area neat and clean, and be able to account for dealership tools at all times
• Road-test vehicles to ensure of quality repair
• Adapt to rapidly changing technologies in the automotive industry, as well as in the diagnostics arena
