Maintenance Technician C (I)

Transdev in Pinellas County is seeking a C-Level Diesel Mechanic to bolster our team. This role demands expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining gas engines across various vehicles and equipment. As a Mechanic, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring safety, efficiency, and longevity for our vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and replacements on engines, ensuring optimal functionality.
• Assist A-Level and B-Level Mechanics in advanced diagnostic and repair tasks, contributing to efficient workflow.
• Execute routine maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and optimize engine performance.
• Lead diagnostic tests to accurately identify complex issues and determine comprehensive repair strategies for engines.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair tasks on engines, including overhauling and rebuilding components to required specifications.

Qualifications

• 1 to 2 years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic.
• ASE certifications preferred ; ASE certification program provided
• Mechanic’s Tool Set
• Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
• The employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.
