Job summary

Schomp Automotive Group in Fairfield, CA is seeking an experienced 2+ year mainline technician for our dealership service center. You will service vehicles in a timely and proficient manner for routine maintenance and diagnose issues with engines and electrical components.

Work with your team to meet dealership goals, replace parts as needed, and maintain productivity. Applicants must have own tools, a valid driver's license, and be able to work with limited supervision.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as mainline technician in a professional dealership or automotive service center.
• The ability to work independently with limited supervision and demonstrate the motivation to continually increase your knowledge & technical skills.
• Your own complete and up-to-date set of tools.
• You must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and acceptable MVR.

Responsibilities

• Service vehicles in a timely and proficient manner for routine scheduled and regular maintenance.
• Inspect vehicle engines and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues, and accurately recommend replacement/repair as needed.
• Work with your team toward achieving dealership, group, and manufacturer goals and benchmarks.
• Efficiently and accurately repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues, maintaining productivity goals.

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday

What You’ll Do:
