  • Assist in assessing customer needs and prepare proper technical audio/visual setups for all college facilities.
  • Maintain the calendar schedule and ensure all safety procedures and guidelines are followed during events.
  • Serve as backup for all events booked on campus, taking full responsibility for equipment operation.
  • Assist with event set up, breakdown, and general maintenance.
  • Work with Event Management System software applications to ensure efficient set up.
  • Ensure all service items and equipment are maintained.
  • Provide daily facility maintenance.

Audio-Visual Facility Technician (Part-Time)

We are seeking an audio-visual technician with a strong customer-service mindset to set up and run audio/visual productions in various campus facilities.

Summary

Incumbent is responsible for assisting with all technical duties required for setting up and running audio/visual productions for campus facilities, including setting up, breaking down, and general maintenance for all events booked at the college.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist with setting up audio/visual equipment for meetings, conferences, and scheduled events.
  • Actively monitor each event and oversee quality control of the audio visual equipment.
  • Assist in assessing customer needs and prepare proper technical audio/visual setups for all college facilities.
  • Maintain the calendar schedule and ensure all safety procedures and guidelines are followed during events.

Qualifications

Education

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Internet technologies.
  • Proven ability to use event management system software.
  • Must possess excellent work ethic.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
