VCA Northview Animal Hospital is seeking an enthusiastic veterinary technician assistant to join our Surgery team full time!
The successful candidates must be friendly, outgoing, “people-oriented” and have above average communication skills. Candidates will have the ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment, be well-groomed, organized, detail-oriented, able to take direction, handle patients compassionately and safely. Excellent telephone and computer skills are necessary. Candidates must possess sound decision-making skills and be able to multi-task.
We are a multi-specialty and general medicine practice, with a small family feel. We have built a culture of support and kindness and truly work together as a team. Our hospital departments include Surgery, Internal Medicine, General Practice and Wellness care, as well as Rehabilitation patients. We truly enjoy working with each other!
High school diploma. Experience working with the public is preferred. Previous work experience in a veterinary hospital is a plus but not required.
Full-time Tuesday-Thursday, 12-hour shifts with flexibility to change to Mon-Thur, four 10-hour shifts in the future. No weekends or holidays.
