Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license.
• No felony or family violence convictions.
• No DWI convictions in the last 5 years.
• Ability to lift 90 pounds.
• High School Diploma / GED Required.

About the Position

Groome Industrial Service Group is seeking motivated individuals to join our team and travel from our Anderson, SCto respond to service calls at power generation plants throughout the region. This role involves hands‑on training to de‑slag large utility boilers using controlled explosives. No prior experience is necessary—just a strong work ethic and willingness to learn. This is a long‑term career opportunity with room for advancement. Qualified individuals may have the opportunity to become licensed explosives blasters through our internal training and certification programs.
