Job summary

Groome Industrial Service Group is seeking a General Laborer to perform various general manual labor tasks. This frontline role supports equipment cleaning, spray operations, debris removal, and safe, efficient site work.

Applicants should be able to work overtime, weekends and holidays as needed, travel and night work may be required, and must pass background checks, drug screen, and physical. A high school diploma or GED is required; DL preferred. TWIC is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work overtime, holidays and weekends (rotating).
• Some travel and night work required.
• Must have acceptable DL, pass a background check, drug screen and physical.
• High school diploma or GED.
• TWIC card is a plus but not a requirement.
• Must understand verbal and written instructions.
• Must be able to read and write.
• Must have basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Cleans equipment for customers.
• Spray equipment with pressurized water.
• Remove debris with vacuum operation.
• Rotate operating equipment (boom, vacuum, and blaster).
• May neutralize equipment after removal of debris.
• Maintains organized supplies and equipment.
• Ensures equipment is returned to proper storage location.
• Keeps a clean, safe work area.
• Safely excavate soil without disturbing underground utilities.
• Complies with safety requirements and company policies.
• Works productively as part of a team.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cleans equipment for customers.
• Spray equipment with pressurized water.
• Remove debris with vacuum operation.
