Holman in Wendell, NC is seeking an Automotive Technician A to join our service team. You will service and repair vehicles per repair orders, diagnose malfunctions, and work to dealership and factory standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and service on vehicles per repair order, ensuring efficiency and accuracy per dealership and factory standards.
• Diagnose causes of malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of automotive diagnosis technology, digital manuals, and reference materials.
• Keep shop area neat and account for dealership tools at all times.
• Road-test vehicles to verify quality of repairs and adapt to new automotive technologies.

What will you do?

Our Technician A is responsible for servicing and repairing vehicles as assigned by the Service Manager.

• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards
• Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repair
• Maintain leading-edge knowledge of automotive diagnosis technology, digital manuals, and reference materials
• Keep shop area neat and clean, and be able to account for dealership tools at all times
• Road-test vehicles to ensure of quality repair
• Adapt to rapidly changing technologies in the automotive industry, as well as in the diagnostics arena

We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location, starting in the range of $30 - $45 USD per hour.
