SunStrong Management in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Technician 4 - Operations and Maintenance (Solar) to lead advanced solar and ESS service work. You will diagnose battery systems and supervise crews on battery and complex service jobs, ensuring quality and safety in outdoor environments.

The role requires 3+ years in solar, battery certifications, strong troubleshooting, and a valid license. You will be driving to sites and performing high-level maintenance across residential and commercial assets.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of solar experience.
• OEM battery certifications (as applicable).
• Strong troubleshooting and leadership capability.
• Valid driver’s license (subject to driver record check).

THE TECHNICIAN 4 POSITION

SunStrong Management is seeking a highly skilled technician specializing in solar and battery (ESS) systems, responsible for advanced troubleshooting and crew leadership.

TECHNICIAN 4 RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform all solar service work
• Diagnose and repair battery (ESS) systems:
• Tesla
• Enphase
• SunVault
• Franklin
• Lead crews on battery and advanced service jobs
• Resolve escalated and multi-system issues

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years of solar experience
• OEM battery certifications (as applicable)
• Strong troubleshooting and leadership capability
• Valid driver’s license (subject to driver record check)

Preferred Qualifications

• Crew Lead for solar + battery work
• Roof and electrical competent
• Authorized for ESS work

woRKing conditionS

• Working outdoors
• Driving required

• Roof/ability to work at various roof pitch heights
• Ability to lift 50lbs.
