Job summary

Briggs Industrial Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Technician III to diagnose and repair diesel engines, electric motors, transmissions, hydraulics and more for trucking and rail equipment. Work in both field and shop, with a focus on Yale, Hyster, Taylor, and Ottawa equipment.

You will perform preventive maintenance and analysis to ensure safety and manufacturer standards, while documenting work and maintaining a safe vehicle and tools. Travel is daily and on-call as needed.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience repairing medium to heavy-duty vehicle/industrial forklift repairs, PMs and diagnostics.
• Ability to read precision instruments (micrometers, dial indicators, bore gauges).
• Valid driver's license, own tools, and willingness to travel daily to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair equipment including diesel engines, electric motors, transmissions, drive axles, hydraulics, brakes, steering, electrical and lifting systems in field and shop.
• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and failure analysis to meet manufacturer and safety standards.
• Document work, manage parts/tools, and maintain a clean, safe service vehicle.
