Job summary

Promera is seeking a Cleaning Technician 2 in San Antonio, TX to ensure clean, safe, and well-maintained environments protecting critical infrastructure. You will help guard equipment from dust and hazards and support operational efficiency.

The role requires OSHA-10 and ladder certifications, 18+ years old, English proficiency, and willingness to travel up to 90%. Training and certifications are provided as part of joining the team.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to read/speak English at grade 5 level.
• Basic technology experience preferred.
• U.S. work authorization without sponsorship.
• Experience: 3–6 months minimum.
• OHSA-10 certification required.
• Ladder certification required.
• Certifications in Equipment & Environment Cleaning L1–L3.
• Certifications in Underfloor Cleaning L0–L3.
• Certified in Top of Floor Surface Cleaning L1–L2 and Carpet L1.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules and wear proper safety gear.
• Use tools and equipment correctly.
• Report unsafe conditions immediately.
• Travel occasionally for work and potential overnight stays.
• Keep work area tidy and organized.
• Meet deadlines and perform at high standards.
• Communicate effectively with team and supervisor.
• Obtain OSHA-10 certification within six months.

Our Cleaning Technician 2 is to ensure clean, safe, and well-maintained environments that protect customer critical infrastructure and support their operational efficiency. Their work helps safeguard sensitive equipment from dust, contamination, and other hazards that could impact performance.

What You’ll Work On

• Follow all safety rules and wear the right safety gear.
• Use tools and equipment the correct way.
• Report anything unsafe right away.
• Be ready for emergencies like spills, fires, or needing to leave the building quickly.
• Keep your work area clean and organized.
• Finish your work on time and do your best.
• Talk and work well with your team and supervisor.
• Get your OSHA 10 safety certificate within six months of starting the job.

What You’ll Need

• Have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Show up on time and work your full schedule.
• Let your team know ahead of time if you'll be absent.
• Be okay with changes in your work schedule.
• Ability to follow detailed instruction.
• Be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Be willing to travel and stay overnight for work when needed.
