Job Description Within BD Medical, Medical Delivery Solution, the Validation & Verification Laboratory is hiring a Technician II. This position will play a critical role in supporting the group’s efforts with respect to medical device testing.
The Validation & Verification Laboratory, which supports all product development and product engineering platforms across MDS, is looking for a talent, meticulous, and passionate individual to help the team by way of expertise and efficiency in a variety of mechanical and physical testing of medical device products. In addition to testing, this associate may also contribute to the improvement of existing testing methodologies, measurement system development & analysis of test methods. The testing performed in this role will help ensure that our products meet our customer’s expectations and regulatory requirements. Knowledge of product development, processes, regulatory, quality requirements and design controls is required. This person will be hands on, adept with hand tools and equipment, have strong attention to detail, and have the ability to work with moderate supervision. Medical device testing experience preferred.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree and minimum of 1 years of experience in a regulated industry / laboratory setting OR Associates in Applied Science (AAS) and minimum of 2 years of experience in a regulated industry / laboratory setting OR High School Diploma and minimum of 6 years of experience in a regulated industry / laboratory setting.
