Job summary

Aggreko, LLC in Odessa, TX is seeking a Technician 1 Power Rotation to support field operations, perform preventive maintenance and repairs on power generators and electrical equipment, and assist with commissioning. You’ll be based at our Midland, TX service center and travel locally in a company vehicle.

The role requires a high school diploma, 4+ years’ experience with Cummins diesel power generators, ability to read schematics, and the physical capacity to lift up to 75 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years experience with Cummins diesel power generators, mechanics or electricians.
• Experience reading schematics and calculating nominal/actual tonnage or kW requirements.
• May need to obtain TWIC card or valid DOT medical card.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators, diesel engines, and electrical distribution equipment.
• Commissioning of canopy and containerized generators.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures at shop and on customer locations; perform repairs.
• Travel to field locations; work with others or solo as required to set up and operate equipment.
