Job summary

Main Event Entertainment is seeking a skilled Technician to maintain and repair our games and amusement equipment at our center. You will perform electrical, mechanical, and technical work, troubleshoot issues, replace components, manage inventory, and order supplies while maintaining a safe and clean facility.

On-the-job training is provided, and you will work with a team to deliver excellent guest experiences.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age.
• Guest-focused mindset and teamwork.
• Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking abilities.
• Ability to learn and use multiple systems supporting the business.
• General knowledge of repair/maintenance for automated bowling equipment and arcade games.
• Practical skills in electronics, mechanics and hydraulics.
• Ability to work on ladders and handle equipment up to 250 lbs.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety practices and PPE.
• Effective communication with management, team members and guests.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical, mechanical and technical work related to construction, repairs, preventive and scheduled maintenance.
• Troubleshoot repairs on games, tellers, pinsetters, and related equipment.
• Disassemble, replace and repair mechanical/electrical components and wiring.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and order supplies as needed.
• Keep mechanic shop and facility clean and organized.
• Uphold safety and sanitation standards at all times.
• Welcome and engage guests as a FUN ambassador.

Job Description:

At Main Event, our Technicians are responsible for maintaining the FUN! As a Technician, you are knowledgeable about the mechanics and operations of our games and entertainment optionsand ensure they are performing properly and safely. You are responsible for supporting the maintenance of the centers equipment, building, and systems, to name a few. Youre also dedicated to delivering the highest standards in safety and sanitation.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING DAILY?

• Performing electrical, mechanical, and technical work related to construction, repairs, preventive, and scheduled maintenance (gotta keep things running!)
• Troubleshooting repairs on games, tellers, pinsetters, etc.
• Disassembling, replacing, and repairing mechanical and electrical components or parts such as bearings, coils, armatures, and wiring
• Maintaining accurate inventory records
• Ordering supplies, tools, and materials as needed
• Maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the mechanic shop and facility
• Upholding our cleanliness and safety standards (We take this seriously!)
• Welcome and engage with all guestswhile being a FUN ambassador!
• Paid on-the-job training!

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• 18+ years of age

• Ability to wear and work in personal protective equipment
• Can effectively communicate with Management, Team Members, and Guests
• Availability to workdays, nights, weekends, and holidays
