Job summary

Building & Earth seeks experienced Construction Material Testing Technicians who are willing to travel to long-term remote projects across the United States. This role involves field testing, observation, and documentation of construction materials such as soil, concrete, grout, mortar, and asphalt.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, enjoy working outdoors, and are eager to contribute to the quality and safety of major construction projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Construction Materials Testing.
• ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician Level I Certification.
• Portable Nuclear Gauge Safety Training Certification.
• Understanding of Proctor Compaction Test and USCS Soil Classification.
• Trained and demonstrated competency in One-Point Proctor testing in the field.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; climb ladders and work on active construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform field testing and observe construction materials such as soil, concrete, grout, mortar and asphalt.
• Document test results and ensure quality and safety on major projects.
• Travel to long-term remote projects across the United States and work outdoors.
• Assist in site observations and report findings to project teams.

What You’ll Need

• High School diploma or equivalent
