Job summary

The Technician at Ohserase Manufacturing LLC is a hands-on role responsible for maintaining and optimizing tobacco product manufacturing equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair machinery to ensure uptime, quality, and safety, while mentoring junior technicians.

You will lead continuous improvement efforts, ensure GMP, OSHA, FDA, and EPA compliance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to minimize downtime and defects.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to work In Canada.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
  • 10+ years of hands-on technical experience inmaintainingand troubleshooting high-speed industrial machinery.
  • Proven experience with manufacturing equipment.
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic aptitude.
  • Proficiencyin diagnosing and repairing complex machinery.
  • Experience with preventive maintenance programs and production documentation.
  • Knowledge of production operating systems software; SAGE preferred.

JOB SUMMARY

The Technician at Ohserase Manufacturing LLCisa critical role focused onmaintainingandoptimizingthe operation of machinery used in tobacco product manufacturing. This hands-on position involves conducting routine and preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment to ensure efficiency and product quality. The role includes leading and mentoring junior technicians, implementing strategies to improve production processes, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards such as OSHA, FDA, and EPA. Additionally, the Making Technician collaborates with cross-functional teams, develops training programs, and drives continuous improvement initiatives to minimize downtime, reduce customer complaints, and support the company's mission and values.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Machinery Maintenance and Operations(65%)
