This role focuses on concrete repair and finishing in an outdoor construction environment. You will perform demolition of old concrete, safely handle and dispose of construction debris, lift heavy materials, and resurface and repair existing concrete structures while consistently using proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
Perform demolition of old concrete using a variety of hand and power tools.
Resurface and repair existing concrete structures to meet quality and safety standards.
Lift and move heavy objects and materials as part of daily construction activities.
Safely collect, handle, and dispose of construction debris in accordance with site procedures.
Work outdoors in varying weather conditions while wearing and maintaining proper PPE.
Use hand tools and power tools efficiently and safely to complete assigned tasks.
Follow all site safety protocols and best practices related to concrete repair and construction.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to required specifications.
Hands-on experience with concrete repair and concrete finishing.
Proficiency in using hand tools for demolition and construction tasks.
Proficiency in using power tools for cutting, breaking, and shaping concrete.
Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting heavy objects.
Capability to work outdoors in a construction environment while wearing proper PPE.
Strong attention to safety when handling tools, materials, and construction debris.
Prior experience in general construction work.
Familiarity with safe handling and disposal of construction debris.
