Job summary

DeVivo Companies in Seekonk, MA is seeking a skilled automotive technician to maintain and repair a range of medium and heavy–duty vehicles. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs while following established processes and communicating with the supervisor and customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or technical training required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in automotive, truck or bus repair.
• Own and maintain proper hand tools to perform job functions.
• Proficient with computer operation.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Performs scheduled preventive maintenance and service inspections on a variety of medium and heavy duty vehicles.
• Performs diagnostic and repair work on all types of vehicles.
• Follow established technical and administrative processes.
• Complete repair orders and parts usage forms.
• Communicate effectively with supervisor, team members and customers.
• Remain current on technical and regulatory requirements.
• Perform road service calls as required.
