Job summary

Adecco is currently assisting a local customer in San Diego, CA in their search for Electronics Technician roles. This is a great opportunity to advance your testing skills while joining a winning culture with Adecco on assignment with our customer.

Responsibilities include setting up and operating test equipment, calibrating and testing production units, diagnosing circuitry, and logging data to support quality improvements. Some overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years in electronics testing or related production environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot analog and digital circuitry to component level.
• Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical docs.
• Electronic Technician Certificate or AS degree preferred; overtime possible.

Job description

Adecco is currently assisting a local Customer in their search for Technician positions. Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate various types of standard and specially designed test equipment for manufacturing verification, engineering validation, and functional testing.
• Calibrate, align, adjust, and perform final functional testing on production units using specifications, test procedures, schematics, and engineering drawings.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose digital and analog circuitry to the component level, identifying root causes and recommending repairs.
• Log production test data, document defects, perform inspections, and support root-cause investigations to improve product quality and reliability.

Requirements:

• 4 to 6 years of related experience in electronics testing, troubleshooting, manufacturing, or production environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot analog and digital circuitry to the component level and work with oscilloscopes, RMS meters, and other electronic test equipment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills with the ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Electronic Technician Certificate and/or AS Degree in Electronic Engineering preferred; must be available to work overtime as needed.

• Shift: Monday through Friday, 1st Shift 5:00 AM to 2:30 PM OR 2nd Shift 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM

Pay Details: $25.00 to $23.00 per hour
