Job description

Technician role at Crown Motors. As an Automotive Technician you will diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles to ensure customer safety and satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Diagnostics
    • Perform thorough inspections and diagnose problems using diagnostic tools.
    • Accurately document vehicle issues and recommended repairs.
  • Repairs and Maintenance
    • Conduct repairs including engine, brakes, transmissions, AC, etc.
    • Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, battery replacements.
  • Customer Communication
    • Communicate clearly with service advisors about repair options and estimated costs.
  • Shop Operations
    • Keep work area clean, organized, and safe following OSHA standards.
    • Use dealership software to record and track vehicle service history.
  • Team Collaboration
    • Work closely with other technicians and service advisors to provide exceptional service.
    • Participate in ongoing training and mentor junior technicians.
  • Compliance and Documentation
    • Ensure compliance with dealership policies, manufacturer standards, and warranty guidelines.
    • Maintain accurate records of completed services and repairs.

Physical Requirements
  • Lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks such as bending, standing, and reaching for extended periods.
  • Work with tools and equipment in varying temperatures and conditions.
Working Conditions

This position requires working in the service bay, which may involve exposure to loud noise, fumes, and hazardous materials. Occasional weekend and evening shifts may be required.
