Job summary

HERITAGE FORD INC in Modesto, CA seeks a Diesel & Automotive Master Technician to diagnose, repair, and service diesel and gasoline vehicles. You will work independently with strong diagnostic skills and mentor junior technicians.

Required are 5+ years of hands-on experience, knowledge of engines and electrical systems, and the ability to read manuals and schematics. ASE Master preferred; CDL beneficial. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Must have a diesel/automotive background with advanced diagnostic skills.
• ASE Master Technician certification preferred; CDL preferred.
• 5+ years of hands-on diesel/automotive experience; strong reading of manuals/schematics.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues in diesel and automotive systems.
• Perform advanced repairs on engines, transmissions, drivetrains, brakes, steering, and HVAC.
• Service diesel engines, fuel systems, turbochargers, and after-treatment systems (DPF/ SCR/ DEF).
• Use diagnostic tools and software to identify issues and verify repairs.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
• Mentor and support junior technicians and apprentices.

Job Title: Ford Diesel & Automotive Master TechnicianJob SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Diesel & Automotive Master Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel and gasoline-powered vehicles and equipment. The ideal candidate has advanced technical expertise, strong diagnostic skills, and the ability to work independently while mentoring junior technicians.
