Continental Aerospace Technologies invites an Engine Test Technician to join our Mobile, Alabama team. You will support research and development testing and analyze engine components, ensuring accuracy of test results and instrumentation.
Responsibilities include assembling engines, installing on test stands, wiring instrumentation, and operating dynamometers while following test plans. A hands-on background in engine systems and safety is essential to succeed in this role.

Performs research and development testing and analysis of new engines and/or components and design improvements of existing equipment, determines characteristics of an engine, engine components, or end item equipment and is responsible for validity of test results and instrumentation used in tests.
When necessary, develops test methodologies and approaches to accomplish the intended purpose of the test plan.
One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination or education and experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules; operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and corresponded. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organizations.
