Job summary

Donatech Corporation in Minnesota seeks a skilled technician to read electrical and mechanical drawings, follow written instructions, and perform assembly of electronic and mechanical subassemblies on ordnance products.

Candidates will use scopes/meters and hand tools, participate in continuous improvement, and support production transfers while maintaining safety and quality.

Qualifications

Job description

Position would require the candidate to be a W2 employee of Donatech.
US Citizenship Required. Must be able to understand and work from engineering drawings and sketches and follow written and verbal work instructions. Must be able and willing to work additional hours when required, including weekends as needed. Perform repetitive to non-repetitive assembly operations of electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies on ordnance products. Perform duties assisting team members in identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities, troubleshooting and transitioning products into production.

Required skills include proficient use of electronic test equipment, electrical assembly tools and hand tools.

Specific skills include:

• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and sketches.
• Precision and fine motor skills required for micro/nano scale fabrication, assembly, test with near zero defects.
• Must be able to demonstrate high degree of mechanical aptitude and J-STD-001 or have knowledge of these requirements.
• Conduct tests using electronics test equipment (ie. Scopes, meters, etc) and generate test report data.
• Must demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with safety objectives and policies.
• Must be able to up to 35 lb.

2-year technical degree or a Minimum of 2 years as a technician performing related tasks, either in a production or prototype environment.
