Job description

Overview

Position would require the candidate to be a W2 employee of Donatech. US Citizenship Required.

Responsibilities

• Performs all types of inspections to support all phases of assembly and manufacturing, including but not limited to subcontracted and/or purchased parts.
• Maintains thorough knowledge of blueprint readings/interpretation, math and instrument reading, and an understanding of wiring diagrams.
• Uses basic measuring equipment and instruments to perform continuity checks on various assemblies/components; demonstrates computer literacy.
• Understands and applies workmanship acceptance criteria used on the production floor.
• Documents all types of errors or discrepancies in a neat and legible manner and maintains proper paperwork/documentation for inspection functions.
• Follows correct procedures and precautions to prevent damage to equipment/material and injury to self and others.
• Maintains a neat and orderly work/inspection area.
• Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

1. Ability to follow work instructions and read/interpret blueprints.
2. Computer literacy.
3. Ability to identify discrepancies.
4. High school diploma required; no degree needed.
5. Manager prefers a candidate with an active secret clearance; previously held clearance acceptable. Supplier will be required to start interim clearance process at offer stage.

Desired Skills

1. Active J-STD-001 certification.
2. Active IPC-610 certification.
