Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a skilled Technician to join the Maintenance team at the Culinary Support Center in Warren, OH. This Monday–Friday dayshift role keeps electrical systems and equipment operating safely and efficiently and supports production areas.

The technician will service and repair packaging equipment, perform electrical and mechanical maintenance, and operate related machinery. A strong mechanical/electrical background and a willingness to learn are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience with single-phase electric power is required, three-phase experience preferred.
• HVAC, welding, plumbing, refrigeration, boilers, pneumatics, Allen Bradley and hydraulics skills desired.
• Strong mechanical background and electrical/electronic aptitude are essential.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair packaging and dispensing equipment.
• Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance.
• Repair equipment using hand and power tools.
• Operate tow motors and electric pallet jacks when applicable.
• Participate in equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Conduct predictive and preventative maintenance.
• Oversee building maintenance and facility equipment.

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a skilled, energetic, and optimistic Technician to join our Maintenance team at our Culinary Support Center in Warren, OH. This is a Monday – Friday, dayshift position. This role is critical to ensuring our electrical systems, equipment, and production areas operate safely and efficiently.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Service and repair packaging and dispensing equipment
• Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance
• Repair equipment utilizing hand and power tools
• Skilled in the repair and operation of tow motors and electric pallet jacks a plus
• Participate in equipment maintenance and repairs
• Conduct predictive and preventative maintenance
• Responsible areas include building maintenance and facility equipment

Requirements:

• Experience working with single-phase electric power; three-phase electric power experience is required
• Intermediate or advanced skills desired in HVAC, welding, plumbing, refrigeration, boilers, pneumatics, Allen Bradley and hydraulics
• Strong mechanical background required
• Electronic and electrical skills required
• High school diploma or equivalent education and/or experience ; technical training preferred
• Strong willingness to learn
