Background: Ultrasonic Technology Solutions (UTS) is at the forefront of developing revolutionary technologies that harness high-frequency vibrations generated by piezoelectric transducers to extract water from wet materials mechanically. UTS is dedicated to expanding the reach of this innovative drying technology to industrial and commercial dryers.

Job Description

UTS is seeking a dedicated Technician to join our team. The Technician will play a crucial role in testing, modifying, repairing, or machining instrumentation and engineering parts. The primary objective of this position is to collaborate closely with engineering and quality control teams to ensure the seamless development of our products.

Job Responsibilities
  • Testing: Perform a variety of sample testing after the initial training period
  • Repair: Perform various repair operations, including mechanical assembly/disassembly, grinding, media blasting, calibration, and more
  • Machining: Execute diverse tasks involving testing, CNC machining, and 3D printing
  • Inventory: Keep an updated list of inventory and order low inventory parts
  • Documentation: Utilize the company's document control system to create necessary documentation for tracking device modifications
Qualifications
  • Detailed oriented and patient for performing repetitive testings
  • Good grasp of fundamental mechanical principles
  • Proficient in hands-on mechanical skills
  • Ability to interpret manufacturing drawings

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Products: Excel, Word
Preferred Skills

Experience with at least one CAD software (Fusion 360 preferred)

Work Schedule
  • Full time: 40 hours per week
  • Part-time: minimum of 20 hrs per week
