Job summary

Vortex Companies, LLC in the United States is seeking a general laborer to support sewer maintenance, inspection and rehabilitation tasks. The role requires working outside year-round and operating pipe bursting equipment to perform pipeline work.

You will make routine decisions under supervision, handle tools, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs while traveling as needed with a daily per diem of $60. A pre-employment DOT medical and drug test is required.

• Basic or advanced math skills.
• Ability to operate a variety of simple and complex tools.
• Overtime and travel availability; DOT and drug test readiness.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Education and Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.


• Experience working in a physical labor position and/or outdoor construction preferred.


• Ability to enter and work in confined spaces.


• Ability to work overtime and out of town, 100% travel, includes daily per diem ($60 / day).


• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test, D.O.T. physical and driver’s license check for past 36 months without any suspensions or major traffic violations (D.O.T. requirements).
