Job summary

bioMérieux in Missouri is seeking an Electronic Technician to perform evaluation, refurbishment, assembly, alignment and acceptance testing of automated bio-technical systems. You will ensure GMP-compliant documentation and support training for Senior Assemblers while maintaining proper stock levels in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
  • 3+ years’ experience as an Electronic Technician or Instrument Manufacturing Technician including knowledge of mechanical and electro-mechanical functions, advanced laws of electricity, microprocessor and analog systems.

Position Summary

Perform evaluation, refurbishment, assembly, alignment and acceptance testing of automated electro-mechanical biological test systems on an advanced level while maintaining stock levels. Perform production functions safely within regulated environment.

Primary Duties
  • Perform sub-assembly and final assembly acceptance test operations accurately and timely.
  • Perform electro-mechanical assembly operations of a complicated nature.
  • Ensure proper completion of supporting documentation, following GMP guidelines.
  • Assist in training of Senior Assembler and other Technicians.
  • Ability to conduct advanced test procedures.
  • Perform all work in compliance with company quality procedures and standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Required Education, Training and Experience

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
  • 3+ years’ experience as an Electronic Technician or Instrument Manufacturing Technician including knowledge of mechanical and electro-mechanical functions, advanced laws of electricity, microprocessor and analog systems.

The pay for this role in the state of Missouri is between $21.80 and $32.70/hr. This role is eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and individual performance per bioMerieux’s bonus program. This range may differ from ranges offered for similar positions elsewhere in the country given differences in cost of living. Actual compensation within this range is determined based on the successful candidate’s experience and will be presented in writing at the time of the offer.
