Job summary

Aftermath is seeking a hands-on Technician to help restore peace of mind after life’s toughest moments in Mississippi Gulfport. This role is not a desk job; you’ll work in the field with safety protocols and real impact.

Expect a hybrid pay structure with on-site duties, comprehensive training, and benefits including health, dental, vision, 401k, and paid training. Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Local candidate able to respond within 1 hour of call.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in challenging environments.
• Willingness to undergo comprehensive training in biohazard remediation.
• Comfortable with dynamic schedules and occasional overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Adhere strictly to safety and compliance protocols to ensure a safe work environment.
• Operate, care for, and maintain company equipment and vehicles; report issues promptly.
• Participate in training programs covering biohazard cleanup, safety, and customer service.
• Complete shipping/receiving, schedule vehicle maintenance, and coordinate pickups.
• Set up and breakdown job sites; operate power tools; perform disinfection per guidelines; apply products correctly.
• Respond quickly to service calls, providing biohazard remediation during emergencies.

What You’ll Do:

• Adhere strictly to safety and compliance protocols, ensuring a safe work environment


• Responsible for the proper use, care, and routine maintenance of company equipment and vehicles; promptly reports issues or needed repairs.


• Participates in comprehensive training programs covering biohazard cleanup processes and procedures, safety protocols, regulatory compliance, customer service, and related job skills.


• Completes administrative duties including shipping and receiving, scheduling vehicle maintenance, and coordinating Stericycle pickups.


• Performs job site setup and breakdown; safely operates power tools; conducts disinfection procedures; and accurately mixes and applies cleaning and disinfecting products according to established guidelines.


• Respond promptly to service calls, providing biohazard remediation services in various emergency situations.

What It Takes:

• Valid driver’s license + clean driving record

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant software.

What is a Hybrid Pay Structure?

In this role, you earn money based on the work being performed. Our team's total earnings are comprised of two rates—Administrative and Job Time Hourly Rate. The administrative rate is a fixed rate of fifteen dollars per hour.
