Job summary

Donatech Corporation in Goleta, CA is seeking a Semiconductor Technician to join our team. You will construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, test, diagnose, and maintain equipment across electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and optical systems, following schematics and engineering drawings.

The role requires experience with high-pressurized vacuum systems, handling hazardous chemicals, and replacing cryogenic components on heavy machinery.

Qualifications

• Experience with high pressurized systems.
• 2 years of troubleshooting.
• 2-4 years of experience diagnosing and repairing heavy manufacturing machinery.
• Experience handling hazardous chemicals and gases.

Responsibilities

• Construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, adjust, test, diagnose and maintain equipment and systems.
• Work from schematics, engineering drawings and instructions.
• Operate related equipment, conduct tests and report data in prescribed format.
• Perform calibration and alignment checks; make adjustments and replacements as directed.

Job description

Position would require the candidate to be a W2 employee of Donatech.

US Citizenship Required.

Semiconductor Technician Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas. Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems. Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions. Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format. Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions. Exclude technicians working in production or quality assurance. Must have knowledge and experience in vacuum systems, pneumatic systems, replacing cryo's, pumps and chillers on heavy machineries.

Basic Required Qualifications:

• Experience with high pressurized systems
• 2 years of Trouble shooting
• Usage of multimeters
• 2-4 years of experience in Diagnosing and repairing heavy machinery used in manufacturing line
• Experience in handling of hazardous chemicals and gases
