Butler America Aerospace, LLC. is seeking a Semiconductor Technician in Goleta, CA. The role involves working with vacuum and pneumatic systems on heavy machinery, diagnosing and repairing equipment, and following schematics and instructions.

The position is a 5-month contract with benefits including 401K, medical, dental and vision. Ideal candidates have 2-4 years of diagnosing heavy machinery, experience with high-pressurized systems, multimeters, and handling hazardous chemicals.

Qualifications

• Experience with high pressure systems.

Responsibilities

• Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems.
• Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format.
• Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.
• Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.

Job Description

• Semiconductor Technician Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas.
• Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems.
• Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.
• Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format.
• Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.
• Must have knowledge and experience in vacuum systems, pneumatic systems, replacing cryo's, pumps and chillers on heavy machineries.

Basic Required Qualifications

• Experience with high pressurized systems
• 2 years of Trouble shooting
• Usage of multimeters
• 2-4 years of experience in Diagnosing and repairing heavy machinery used in manufacturing line
• Experience in handling of hazardous chemicals and gases
