Job summary

Marion Eye Centers in Cape Girardeau seeks an Ophthalmic Technician to greet patients, take histories, and prepare them for exams. You will perform visual acuity, refraction, visual fields, and tonometry, and assist doctors with exams and minor procedures.

You will maintain instruments, enter data into the EHR, keep rooms stocked, and support smooth clinical flow. Prior eye-care or medical-office experience is preferred, but training is available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in eye care or medical office preferred.
• Excellent communication and patient-service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and obtain medical histories.
