Valvoline Instant Oil Change (VIOC) is hiring entry-level lube technicians in Austin, TX. You will learn to perform preventive maintenance, oil changes, fluid checks, tire rotations, and safety inspections through our award-winning training program.

You will join a team focused on safety, guest satisfaction, and quality service, with weekend flexibility and no late evenings. This role suits eager learners seeking a hands-on start in automotive service.

Qualifications

• Entry-level role with on-the-job training; no prior automotive experience required.
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours, climb stairs, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment.
• English reading, writing, and speaking fluency.

Responsibilities

• Provide top-tier customer service while performing preventative maintenance on vehicles.
• Learn to change oil, check and refill fluids, rotate tires, test and replace batteries, inspect lights and wipers.

What You’ll Do:

As an entry-level lube technician (aka auto technician), you will help keep our guests safe on the road by providing top-tier customer service while performing preventative maintenance services for their vehicles. Through our award winning training program, you will learn to change oil, check and refill fluids, rotate tires, test and replace batteries, inspect and replace lights and wipers, perform an 18-point safety check, and more. You’ll work as a team to provide fast, easy, trusted services to our guests, and have fun doing it!
