Job summary

Pavion is seeking a skilled Technician to install and service low voltage systems across client sites in the United States. You will work on cabling, field devices, headend equipment, and basic programming, with emphasis on safety and quality.

Travel to client sites is expected; you will analyze drawings, ensure compliance with regulations, and support project teams from kickoff to finish, maintaining documentation and daily status updates.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; related certifications or vocational training in structured cabling, electronics, or a related field is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of structured cabling principles, including copper and fiber optic cabling standards and installation techniques.
  • Familiarity with electronic security systems, such as access control, CCTV, fire alarm, and intrusion detection, is desirable.
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools commonly used in cabling and electronic security installations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients both orally and in writing.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites as required.

  • Participate in approved job-related training and development programs
  • Follow company and site safety guidelines utilizing best practices to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Ensure quality control for assigned task
  • Material management for assigned projects
  • Monitor and manage subcontractors
  • Responsible for updating management on the status of all work performed daily
  • Perform additional technician-related functions as assigned by management
  • Clean up work area daily
  • Maintain assigned vehicle and company equipment

Pay Range: The hourly pay range for this position is $27-$37per hour . The starting hourly pay will be determined based on qualifications, experience, education, skills, certifications, and internal equity. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package.
