Job summary

Pavion is seeking a skilled Technician to join our security business unit. You will perform project installations, service, and maintenance across a range of fire, security, and communications systems, coordinating with clients and internal teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in security integration, a valid driver’s license, OSHA 10, and Lenel certification. This role offers hands-on installation, on-call rotations, and growth within Pavion’s growing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years' experience as a technician in security integration.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• OSHA 10 certification is required.
• Lenel Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Project installation and coordination of work on time and within budget.
• Install all systems offered by Pavion.
• Maintain all systems supported.
• Navigate online service programs.
• Coordinate tools and materials to complete work on time and within budget.
• Manage customer relations.
• Train fellow employees.
• Daily installation work and coordination with customers.
• On-call service rotation.
• Qualify for security licenses.
• Qualify for vendor/manufacturer product certifications.
• Perform other duties as directed by Operations.
• Interpret shop drawings for project scope.
• Inspection & service.
• Work in harmony with fellow technicians.

Primary Responsibilities

• Project installation
• Installing all systems that are offered
• Maintenance of all systems supported
• Navigate online service programs
• Coordination of tools and materials required to complete work on time and within budget
• Customer Relations
• Training of fellow employees
• Daily installation work and project coordination with customer
• On Call service rotation
• Qualifier for our security licenses
• Qualifier for vendor\manufacturer product certifications
• All other duties at the direction of the Operations organization
• Knowledge to interpret shop drawings for implementation of project scope
• Inspection & Service
• Work in harmony with fellow technicians

Basic Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3 - 5 years' experience as a technician in the security integration industry
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• OSHA 10 certification
• Lenel Certification

Compensation varies based on experience and ranges from $20-$30/hr
