Job summary

LOF-Xpress in Ankeny, IA is seeking a Technician to perform oil changes and preventive maintenance while delivering fast, friendly, and safe service to customers.

Paid training provided; no prior automotive experience required. Eligible team members may receive medical/dental/vision insurance, PTO, 401(k), and opportunities for advancement.

What You'll Do

As a Technician, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer experiences while performing preventive vehicle maintenance services.

Responsibilities include:

• Greet customers and provide a welcoming experience
• Perform oil changes and other preventive maintenance services
• Educate customers on recommended vehicle maintenance services
• Work efficiently while maintaining service quality and safety standards
• Operate point-of-sale systems and process customer transactions
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow company procedures, safety standards, and service processes
• Collaborate with team members to achieve operational and sales goals
• Learn multiple positions within the shop and assist where needed
• Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to bend, kneel, reach, climb, and work in tight spaces
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and snow
• Exposure to automotive equipment, vehicle fluids, and shop noise
