Job summary

University of Minnesota seeks a Technical Writing Program Lead for its CCAPS Professional Development and Lifelong Learning Programs. This temporary, part-time role aligns the program with industry skill needs, including interviews with experts and curriculum design across the program and courses.

Initial four-month appointment may extend to annual duties. The position offers a .08 FTE during the design phase with a $2,050 compensation for four months, and potential extension to annual .03 FTE

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Four years of work experience related to the subject matter.
• Demonstrated commitment to creating an inclusive environment in a professional setting.
• Ability to explain concepts in ways that help others learn.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain program curriculum, outcomes, and required/elective courses.
• Advise course SMEs and instructors and participate in SME/instructor searches.
• Support enrollment and marketing efforts with the team, including videos and articles.
• Annually review and revise the program curriculum, outcomes, and course outcomes.
