Job summary

Reynolds and Reynolds is seeking a Technical Writing Intern to join the Documentation team in Houston. You will produce manuals and online reference materials for software products and may work with HTML5 documents. The role focuses on updating help messages and testing instructions to ensure accuracy.

During the summer, you may be assigned to various projects within the Documentation department, gaining hands-on experience in technical writing and software documentation best practices.

Qualifications

• Junior or Senior in college with strong editing fundamentals.
• Excellent spelling, proofreading, grammar and editing skills.
• Detail-oriented, deadline-oriented, and highly organized.

Responsibilities

• Produce manuals and online reference materials for Reynolds and Reynolds software products.
• Keep help messages up to date within the software for customers to use.
• Write instructions within help messages and test the instructions to verify accuracy.
• Assist with various Documentation department projects during the summer.
