• 3–5 years of demonstrated experience as a technical writer or editor supporting federal programs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Prior experience within the Department of Homeland Security with familiarity in cybersecurity is desired.

Responsibilities

• Support development and upkeep of the Project Management Plan and its supporting sections.
• Draft, format, and edit major deliverables.
• Prepare and refine status reports and meeting materials.
• Establish and maintain consistent formatting, templates, style, and version control across all documentation.
• Incorporate review comments and support quality control processes, ensuring deliverables are complete, accurate, and free of material errors.
• Handle and store Government information and CUI in accordance with DHS records management and information protection requirements.

The IT Specialist role is responsible for drafting, formatting, and editing the effort's major deliverables, maintaining consistent templates and version control, and incorporating review comments to ensure documents are complete, accurate, and delivered on time. This position is a strong fit for a writer who can translate technical and policy content into polished, review-ready deliverables in a federal program environment. Key Responsibilities
