Job summary

Perrigo Company plc is seeking a skilled Technical Writer to support documentation creation and revision across production processes, equipment operation, cleaning, testing, and controlled documents. The role emphasizes assessing training impact, capturing critical operational knowledge, and improving usability of instructions for the workforce.

You will partner with Training, Quality, Engineering, and Operations to ensure documents are accurate, compliant, and easy to follow, supporting CAPA

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, Communications, Education, Instructional Design, Engineering, Manufacturing, Science, or related field preferred.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in technical writing, manufacturing operations, training, quality systems, or regulated documentation.
• Experience in FDA-regulated, cGMP, pharmaceutical, nutrition, medical device, or food manufacturing environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Draft, revise, and maintain SOPs, standard work instructions, forms, logs, attachments, checklists, and other controlled documents.
• Assess training impact of changes and plan readiness for engineering changes and CAPAs.
• Interview SMEs to capture knowledge and translate it into standardized documentation and learning resources.
• Develop visual and digital learning materials, including work instructions and flowcharts, to improve usability.
