Job summary

TAE Technologies in Southern California seeks a skilled technical writer to create and maintain engineering manuals, specifications, IFUs, service and operation manuals. You will work with engineers and scientists to document complex systems and ensure conformance to ISO 9001 quality processes.

Minimum 3 years in technical writing and strong ability to capture mechanical/electrical design details are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in technical writing, preferably in medical or high-tech domains.
• Excellent technical writing skills for mechanical, electrical, and high-tech products.
• Practical knowledge of QA concepts and document control (ISO 9001).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers and scientists to produce manuals, specifications, IFUs, and SOPs.
• Review drawings and compile specifications for procurement and production.
• Maintain documents and drawings per ISO 9001/13485 and QA standards.
• Document design, testing, requirement traceability, and inspection activities.
