Job summary

Tactical Engineering & Analysis, Inc. is seeking a Technical Writer to author and maintain documentation for the Command and Control Processor (C2P) program.

You will deliver user-friendly manuals and API guides, working closely with CM to uphold standards and update docs as new capabilities arise. Collaborate with engineers, PMs, and stakeholders to gather accurate information, develop content strategies, and ensure high-quality documentation across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience in writing, editing, and proofreading technical documentation with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with documentation tools and version control systems.
• Ability to translate complex technical information for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Create, review, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation including user manuals, installation guides, and API documentation.
• Collaborate with engineers, PMs, and CM to gather information and ensure accuracy.
• Translate technical concepts into clear content for non-technical audiences.
• Develop content strategies to improve documentation quality and user experience.
• Manage multiple documentation projects with timely delivery and quality control.
• Conduct usability testing and incorporate user feedback to improve docs.
• Maintain and update internal documentation libraries and knowledge bases.
