Job summary

GMRE Inc. provides technical support and data analysis under engineering staff direction for a range of systems, including aircraft and C4ISR assets. The role covers test and evaluation, logistics, sustainment, and analyses to ensure safety, suitability, and effectiveness.

The position requires up to 3 years of experience with a bachelor's or master’s degree, and an active TOP SECRET clearance. Occasional travel and a valid driver’s license are expected.

Qualifications

Requires up to 3 years of experience with a BA/BS or MS degree in the applicable discipline.
Assists more senior positions and performs duties under oversight.
Security clearance: must have Active U.S. TOP SECRET clearance and be eligible for background checks.

Description

Provides technical support, conducts data analysis and applies knowledge of engineering technology under the direction of engineering staff. Types of tasks include test and evaluation, test support, logistics, sustainment, operations analyses, manufacturing product assurance, technical studies, and various analyses and support activities including cost/price, human factors, DRAFT AEDC PWS Attachment 1 Page 75 of 76 CUI safety, program/system security, FMS/Arms Export, command and control, intelligence, reliability and maintainability (R&M), quality assurance (QA), and technical and engineering capability to ensure operational safety, suitability, and effectiveness. Systems requiring support include, but are not limited to, aircraft, aerial targets, air combat training equipment, global positioning equipment, air base operability equipment, munitions, missiles, electronics, explosives, bombs, warheads, fuzes, guns, ammunition and AF Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) systems.

Security Clearance And Other Requirements

Must have a minimum of an active U.S. TOP SECRET clearance and be subject to a government security investigation.
Driving or renting a car for company business is expected with some frequency. For insurance purposes,a valid driver s license is required.
