Job Description
- Provide support, as outlined below, on dual projects.
- Write and/or edit business and technical documents, including business proposals, reports, user manuals, briefings and presentations, functional descriptions, system specifications, guidelines, special reports, and other project deliverables to meet contract requirements.
- Develop outlines and drafts for review and approval by Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and project management ensuring that final documents meet applicable contract requirements and regulations.
- Research and gather technical and background information for inclusion in project documentation and deliverables.
- Consult relevant information sources, including library resources, technical and financial documents, and client/project personnel, to obtain background information, and verify pertinent guidelines and regulations governing project deliverables.
- Keep a consistent style and writing standard, ensuring technical accuracy, and strict adherence to documentation standards under tight deadlines.
- Strive to develop new and refine existing technical writing processes to increase the efficiency of the process and enhance the quality of the end product.
- Complete online research about prospects and additional duties as assigned.
- Pay strict attention to detail; must have the ability to review and edit content for clarity, grammar, and proper use of technical or customer terminology.
- Understand requirements and coordinate with SME’s and managers to d raft technical content and refine technical responses.
- Conduct detailed review of all surveillance issues, adhoc requests, artifacts, and deliverables for submission to client.
- Conduct research and ensures that all instructions are carefully met in all documents, is of high quality, and is compliant with criteria and guidelines.
- Recognize and communicates gaps in content.
- Create and refine project documentation including project reports and deliverables.
- Develop SOPs, templates, and workflows to implement operational standardization across the program.
- Manage SharePoint site and document repository to organize, update and share content, documents, with the program team and stakeholders.
- Adhere to and actively manage timelines associated with project requests
- Excellent communication skills and proven experience in a client-facing role
- Solid organizational skills including high-level attention to detail and multitasking skills
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in English, History, Journalism or other discipline that requires understanding of the writing/rewriting/editing process
- 5 years’ experience in development of structured written materials and visual aids
- 2+ years of directly related IT-based experience
- 3+ years experience in managing content in SharePoint
- Business process mapping: 3 years (Preferred)
- Develop high-level reports and presentations for leadership: 3 years (Preferred)
- Excellent customer service, problem solving, and oral and written communications skills.
- Position is currently 100% remote due to COVID-19; Under normal circumstances, individual must be able to work onsite in Metropolitan DC area

The salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $115,000 annually. The exact salary offered will depend on your qualifications, experience, and alignment with the responsibilities of the role.
