Job summary

V2X is seeking a Technical Writer to support a cybersecurity project by creating, editing, organizing, and presenting technical documentation and compliance artifacts. The role collaborates with system engineers and architects to document how controls are implemented and to capture supporting evidence.

You will develop clear materials for cybersecurity controls, maintain compliance artifacts, and ensure materials are accurate and professionally presented.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in technical writing or similar skillset.
• Familiarity with information technology and cyber security concepts and technology.
• IAT II certification required and eligibility to obtain/maintain a Public Trust/NACI clearance.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain cybersecurity compliance controls, documentation, and supporting artifacts to assist with capture planning and project requirements.
• Gather, develop, edit, and format technical information and documentation to support cybersecurity compliance and project deliverables.

Qualifications

Education / Certifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
• IAT II certification (Security+ or better) required.
• Eligibility to Obtain and Maintain a Public Trust/NACI Clearance required.

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in technical writing or similar skillset.
• Familiarity with information technology and cyber security concepts and technology

Skills

• Working knowledge of information technology and cybersecurity concepts, with the ability to collaborate with system engineers and architects to document technical compliance with security controls.
• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud environments is preferred, but not required.

  • The following salary range is intended to display the value of the company's base pay compensation and may be modified at the discretion of the company. USD $60,000.00 - $80,000.00
