Job summary

Bluestone is seeking a Technical Consultant to work across client environments, installing and configuring virtual servers, coordinating deployments, and validating integrations with plant systems. You will drive site-specific configurations and ensure data continuity across software applications.

Ideal candidates will have a CS degree or equivalent, experience leading tech teams, strong Agile practices, and expertise in Kubernetes, cloud tech, and scripting with C#/Python/PowerShell.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience leading technology teams with strategic and tactical responsibilities.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and software development practices.
• Expertise in Kubernetes, server provisioning, and cloud technology.
• Strong skills in C#, Python, or PowerShell scripting.
• Experience with IT Enterprise Security concepts and implementation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with IT infrastructure teams to install and configure virtual servers in plant data centers with minimal supervision.
• Partner with IT Project Management to ensure timely launch and deployment activities, escalating risks as necessary.
• Validate application functionality with physical systems in collaboration with in-plant resources.
• Provide site-specific business configuration analysis to meet launch and deployment initiatives.
• Coordinate testing with upstream and downstream plant software applications to ensure data continuity.
• Investigate IT system integration problems and offer technical solutions.
• Maintain up-to-date technical documentation for production installations.
