Job description

A. Harold and Associates, LLC (AHA) is seeking aTechnical Writer (TECHW). The TW will work with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), TECHWs, and Web Developers to gather and analyze existing training documentation to support the revision of the U.S. Navy Cryptologic Technician Interpretive (CTI) and Intelligence Specialist (IS) Rate Training Manuals (RTM). No travel will be required for this role.

**This is an opportunity that requires full-time in office support on base at Corry Station in Pensacola. This position requires an active Secret Security Clearance.

Specific Duties/Job Requirements:

• Conducts Needs Assessment and needs analysis
• Develops initial detailed review document
• Reviews/develops RTM learning objectives for integrated master plan
• Coordinates with SMEs and support staff to conduct information gathering
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel)
• Concise communication, able to adapt to customer needs
• Other duties as assigned

Required Experience/Education:

• Must have an active SECRET Security clearance
• Experience serving in the United States Navy
• A minimum of five years’ professional work-related experience
• Experience using Navy Personnel Qualification Standards (PQS)
• Data collection / facilitation skills (typing, listening, writing)
• Organized and concise
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Able to adapt to customer need

Preferred Experience:

• Working knowledge of current US Navy rate training course documentation
• Master Training Specialist (MTS) certification
• Experience editing and developing PQS
• Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in Instructional Design, Communications, or equivalent experience
