Gromelski and Associates, Inc. (GAI) seeks a Technical Writer to develop and update technical content for naval systems, including IETMs. You will collect information from engineers, draft procedures, and produce diagrams and tables for installation, operation, and maintenance.
The role requires clear writing, ability to verify content from multiple sources, and experience with ICP programs and graphics tools. U.S. citizenship and clearance eligibility preferred.
Gromelski and Associates, Inc. (GAI) partners with prime contractors to provide professional services. Key service areas include Engineering Design and Documentation; Software Development and Testing; System Integration, Testing and Evaluation; Lab Management and Field Installation; Integrated Logistics Support, Training Development and Delivery, Multimedia Support, and Technical System Support.
Researches and writes technical content supporting specialized military equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, IT equipment and software. Edits and updates existing technical content in a fast-paced fluid environment of engineering changes.
Writes and/or edits technical documents to support the production of Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs) for U.S. Navy electronic systems. Develops technical descriptions, procedures, diagrams, operational specifications, and related technical information. Provides clear and effective communication through technical documentation to a wide range of audiences. Responsible for capturing and documenting operational and maintenance related information to support the introduction of new technology to the U.S. Navy.
Job: Full-Time Employee, 40 hours/week
Salary Range: $75,000 - $110,000
