One of Brunel's major Oil & Gas clients is seeking a Technical Writer to support a new brownfield LNG project. The role is based in Houston, TX and is a 5-year contract opportunity. Must have project, technical writing, or project controls experience.

Responsibilities

• Draft, edit, and manage project reports including progress updates, executive summaries, and stakeholder communications.
• Review reporting inputs from discipline leads to ensure data is complete and consistent.
• Prepare formal project correspondence such as meeting minutes, memos, transmittals, and communications.
• Ensure consistency, clarity, and accuracy in all written materials, aligning with project goals and contractual requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in project management, communications, engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in project controls and/or technical writing with a focus on project documentation.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (especially Word and Excel), and project management tools.
• Strong written communication skills with attention to detail and formatting.
